Heroin

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) for heroin addiction provide structured care while allowing individuals to live at home and maintain daily responsibilities. These programs are ideal for those who don't require 24-hour supervision or medical detox but still need comprehensive support to manage their recovery.

Key Features of IOPs for Heroin Addiction

Therapeutic Approaches: Includes individual counseling, group therapy, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention strategies. Behavioral therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are commonly used to address the psychological aspects of addiction.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): Medications such as methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone), and Vivitrol may be integrated into the program to manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings.

Flexibility: Sessions are typically held multiple times a week, often totaling at least 9 hours per week, allowing participants to balance treatment with work, school, or family obligations.

Support Network: IOPs often encourage participation in mutual-support groups and provide access to community resources to build a strong recovery network

Note: Marula Rehab Telehealth Intensive Outpatient Treatment does not prescribe prescription medications and participants who seek prescription treatment to aid in sobriety from Substance Abuse Addiction may need to seek the advice of their primary physician.
