Key Features of IOPs for Meth Addiction
Therapeutic Approaches: Includes individual counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation. Behavioral therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Contingency Management are often used to address the psychological aspects of addiction.
Medication Support: While there are no FDA-approved medications specifically for meth addiction, IOPs may use medications to manage symptoms like anxiety or depression during recovery.
